A Few Simple Basics to Nutrition

First and foremost,

Water is a huge part of the human diet it allows toxins to move the right way through the body, which is one way and, that's out. It  helps the oxygen, proteins, hormones to move through the blood to help the body function correctly.

When you wake in the morning try drinking a glass of water, it wakes your organs from your sleeping fast. Water, also helps regulate waste removal it gives you more energy from the flow of things to the organs and glands.

-With food the more vibrant in color the more nutrient rich the food.  If the fruit and vegetable are the same color it has some of the same nutrients as the fruit and, vice versa.

*Great advice for those allergic to the fruit or do not like the veggie Pigments: carotenoids, which give orange and yellow vegetables their colors; flavonoids, which provide blue, red and cream colors; and chlorophyll, makes greens green. These colorful compounds also provide health and nutrition benefits.

-Eating healthfully is simpler when you know what the colors of vegetables indicate about their nutritional value.

Eating the colors of the rainbow is a good trick to eating highly nutritious foods.

-Serving sizes is a major part of the healthy eating type of lifestyle. It should be a fist size portion of food. 3 meals and 2 snacks broken up throughout the day will also speed up your metabolism.

As long as you eat the right foods this could work for you.

-Everything is good in moderation.

-You can eat as many veggies as you like and fruit as long as you plan to burn off the natural sugars it has, so after a certain time of day works for lots of peoples eating habits.

When trying to lose weight it is important to;

-Drink lots of water; 8 8oz glasses of water or 1oz of water per 2lb of body weight, so take your weight and split it in half is how many ounces you should be drinking of water in a day.

-Try drinking a glass of water before each meal, you will feel like you want to eat less and it will help flush food through quicker.

-Also most humans mistaken thirst for hunger, which is why there are so many fat Americans.

-We should be eating to give our bodies the nutrients we need to sustain a healthy balance and that's with a balanced diet, also not eating in a hurry to only shut our stomach up.

-Keep yourself nourished; starving yourself doesn't do anything good for your health in the long run. The body is made up of Protein, Fat and Carbs; it cannot function correctly without them.

-Cut all sugars and bread.

-Only eat good Carbs, Fats and Proteins.

-When eating meat 3oz a day is healthy and red meat 2 days a week tops or none at all is healthy. Should be antibiotic free and growth hormone free at the least.

-Get someone else to do join you on your weight loss journey.

-Keeping a log will help you keep yourself on top of your goals.

-Exercise is the key to releasing toxins in the body, regulating hormones; the key to a great exercise routine is consistency, switching routines, nutrients before to sustain energy and eating a half hour after will replenish the muscles to help them grow and help get rid of toxins in the body.

I hope this shines a little light on your journey to your lifestyle change. I say this because diets don't work. we need a long term fix not short term that leads to either going back on it in the future or causing major damage in the long run.
